Class Threads is a community marketplace used by students, parents, alumni, and schools. Our platform is designed primarily for fashion, accessories, and school‑spirit merchandise, and we may allow other small, safe lifestyle items at our discretion.

To maintain a safe and trustworthy environment, the following items may not be listed.


🎒 1. Supported Categories

Class Threads primarily supports:

  • clothing

  • shoes

  • accessories

  • bags & backpacks

  • jewelry

  • school‑spirit merchandise (hoodies, tees, hats, decals, etc.)

  • new, factory‑sealed personal care items

We may allow small, safe lifestyle items that fit the spirit of our community, but we reserve the right to remove anything outside this scope.

These items are not supported on Class Threads, even if legal:

  • large, bulky, or heavy items (furniture, appliances, large home goods)

  • items requiring installation, certification, or special handling

  • tools, automotive items, or hardware

  • sports equipment with safety implications (helmets, pads, etc.)

  • food, beverages, supplements, or consumables

  • live plants, seeds, or animals

  • collectibles, trading cards, or memorabilia

If it’s not fashion, school‑spirit gear, or a small safe item, it may not be supported.


🔥 3. Illegal, Unsafe, or Regulated Items (Strictly Prohibited)

Weapons & Self‑Defense Items

  • knives (except table knives)

  • pepper spray, tasers, batons

  • realistic weapon replicas

Drugs, Alcohol, & Tobacco

  • illegal drugs

  • prescription or OTC medications

  • alcohol, tobacco, vaping products

  • drug‑related paraphernalia

Hazardous Materials

  • flammables, combustibles, explosives

  • corrosive, poisonous, or toxic substances

Medical Devices

  • anything intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent medical conditions

  • examples: contact lenses, breast pumps, body wraps

Recalled or Unsafe Items

  • any item recalled by a manufacturer or government agency

  • items known to pose safety risks (e.g., high‑powered magnets, certain baby products)


🧼 4. Hygiene‑ Sensitive Items

To protect our community:

  • used socks or underwear are not allowed

  • new underwear must be clean, unused, and have tags attached

  • pre‑owned bras and swimwear are allowed

  • personal care items must be new, unused, and factory‑sealed

Strictly prohibited:

  • replicas, fakes, knockoffs, or unauthorized copies

  • items altered from branded materials without permission

  • pirated media

  • misleading brand references (e.g., “inspired by Chanel”)

Only list items you have the rights to sell.


🧩 6. Inappropriate or Harmful Content

Not allowed:

  • nudity or sexually explicit content

  • hate symbols, hate speech, or violent content

  • threats, harassment, or content promoting self‑harm

Listings must be appropriate for a broad community of students, families, and schools.


🎭 7. Deceptive or Misleading Items

Not allowed:

  • impersonation uniforms (police, military, emergency personnel)

  • fake documents or credentials

  • stolen goods

We cooperate with authorities when required.

Class Threads may:

  • remove prohibited listings

  • cancel related transactions

  • restrict or suspend accounts

  • withhold payment when necessary

We reserve the right to remove any item that does not align with the safety, values, or spirit of our community.
