Sellers are required to describe items truthfully and accurately, including condition, size, and any flaws. Listings must include original photos of the actual item.

Transparent Pricing

The price you see at checkout reflects the seller’s price plus any applicable taxes and fees. Sellers set their own prices.

Local Pickup First

Most transactions on Class Threads are completed through local pickup, coordinated directly between the buyer and seller.

Safe, School‑Aligned Community

Class Threads is designed for school communities. We encourage respectful communication and safe, public meeting locations for local pickup.

Communicate Promptly

Buyers should respond quickly when coordinating local pickup or clarifying details with sellers.

Show Up Prepared

For local pickup:

Arrive on time
Inspect the item before accepting it
Bring any necessary confirmation details

Once you accept the item in person, the sale is considered final.

Respectful Conduct

Buyers must communicate respectfully and follow all community guidelines. Harassment, abusive behavior, or misuse of the platform may result in account restrictions.

📦 Local Pickup

Local pickup is the preferred delivery method on Class Threads.

How It Works

Buyer and seller coordinate a mutually agreed‑upon meeting location
Public or school‑adjacent locations are recommended
Buyer inspects the item before accepting it
Once the item is accepted, the transaction is complete

Check the seller’s location before choosing Free Local Pickup. The seller’s city and state appear on the List of Products page within each school collection. Local Pickup should only be selected if you are able to meet the seller in that area.

If a buyer selects Local Pickup for an item located in another city or state, the seller may need to cancel the order. Because payment processors do not refund transaction fees on canceled orders, a non‑refundable processing fee may be deducted from the refund amount.

🚚 Shipping & Delivery

Some orders may be delivered by shipping or local drop‑off if the buyer selects Delivery at checkout.

What Buyers Should Know

Shipping and delivery are managed entirely by the seller
Sellers choose packaging, carrier, and shipping method
Shipping is supported only within the continental United States
Sellers must provide tracking for all shipped orders
Delivery timelines may vary based on the seller’s chosen method
Class Threads does not generate shipping labels or handle shipping logistics
If the seller cannot complete the order, they may cancel before shipping or delivery; buyers receive a refund of the order total
A non‑refundable payment‑processing fee may be deducted from refunds on canceled orders, as payment processors do not return these fees

🔄 Returns & Refunds

Class Threads is a peer‑to‑peer marketplace. All sales are final unless the buyer and seller mutually agree to a return.

Buyers should:
